The Tongan Health Inc provides services to a population right across the Auckland region.  Currently, evidence of this population is recorded in our General Practice Register although there are individual project databases with the Society that record specific client intervention including the Well Child database, the Hepatitis B database and other public health projects. 

The following description of our population is based on our general practice register using the assumption that the majority of our clients from the clinical projects also access GP services from the Langimalie Health Centre.

There are 10770 people using the services of the Langimalie Health Centre including 44 percent who identified their place of residence as located within the boundaries of the Auckland District Health Board (ADHB).  People from areas within the Counties-Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) make up 48 percent of users, while people from within the Waitemata District Health Board (WDHB) make up just over 7 percent of users.
