COVID-19 cases are on the increase

COVID-19 cases are on the increase, modelling suggests the surge will peak around December-January.

• Most of our Pacific peoples aged ≥ 12 yrs are double vaccinated (>90%) and others have received one or two booster vaccines.

• Our vaccination coverage for our Pacific children aged 5-11 yrs remains low with 20% double vaccinated. 

• For most of our population who completed their 2nd vaccination earlier this year, our immunity is likely to be waning.
